Alex Christine is an American dancer who found fame after winning “Rising Legends: Season 2,” an audition competition program sponsored by Soompi and Cube Entertainment. Winning the top prize in the show in 2017 gave Alex Christine the opportunity to travel to Seoul, South Korea, to officially audition for Cube Entertainment and record her debut song and music video. She also stars in “LEGENDARY: Making of a K-Pop Star,” a 2017 Viki Original series that follows her trip to Seoul to experience the K-pop star treatment for the first time. The daughter of a Korean adoptee, Alex Christine grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She began taking dance classes at 18 months and has taken ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop, lyrical and tap. She joined a competitive dance team in 5th grade and has been involved in her high school pom team and elite show choir. Alex Christine says she was first exposed to K-pop in 7th grade, when she and her best friend had to do a group project about a Chinese celebrity for their Chinese class, and they chose Henry from Super Junior. She has been a big fan ever since. In 2018 she joins Mnet Survival Show, Produce 48.
